After almost four years of commuting weekly down to Richmond, VA from Westchester County, NY to work for Spider Management (the University of Richmond's endowment office, where I run the private-equity portfolio), I have now moved my office to our house in Westchester, and am working remotely for Spider. Apparently telecommuting is a thing.
