Jeff Varick: 2026 is a milestone year, sending our oldest to college (Indiana) in the fall and our youngest now in high school. Celebrating 20 years with my automotive technology company Brandmotion and 10 years with my installation services company. Happily married to Deedee 22 years in January. Lots going on and blessed to have health happiness and a smidge more wisdom.
Jordan Foster: Still a Partner at Marshall Wace. We moved to Hudson Yards last summer so would be nice to have coffee with anyone in the area. Kids are 21, 17, 15 so a couple of years from empty nest. Focus most time on family and Minds Matter NYC as I’m on the Board. Wife has re-launched her match making business. Recently had a drink with George Hongchoy and was quite catching up. Sorry I missed the reunion but my undergrad (Penn) was same weekend and I had gift co-chair responsibilities. Hoping all faring well and healthy! Still living in Westchester and summer in Water Mill.
Luke Nealey: Retired this summer from Jackson(MS) Preparatory School where I have worked for 27 years, 19 as Head of the Upper School. I graduated with the class of 2026, 50 years after my own. Got a letter jacket to prove it.
Lutz Braum: I’m happy to announce my retirement as of June 1. After 38 years in Marketing, I’m transitioning to a life filled with creative endeavors, travel, and connection. To a life that’s less about chasing metrics (titles, salaries, countries visited, vertical feet skied in a day) and more about appreciating what can’t be measured: friendship, a well-composed photograph, the satisfaction of a story well told, or time spent in nature.
Kacey Carpenter: Summer has been full of celebrations and new adventures. We recently celebrated our son Rob’s wedding in Southern California, a wonderful weekend with family and friends. Back home in Oregon, I’ve been teaching a Nature-Inspired Writing course at Portland Community College, helping students discover stories through observation, curiosity, and the outdoors. I’m also launching my second National Park mystery thriller, Murder in Vacationland, set in Acadia National Park on the coast of Maine. I’d love to connect.
