Gary Skraba: In May 2022, I chose early retirement when my doctor said “You have to choose: your work or your life” (I replied, “I’m thinking, I’m thinking … give me a minute here”) and have since been enjoying the quiet life in a college-town suburb 30 miles east of downtown Los Angeles. Since then, I’ve improved my health, completed some minor home improvements while supporting my wife’s burgeoning career, become more involved with our church including helping with their financials and budgeting/projections, and enjoyed time to catch up with family and friends, including classmates Obi Khan and Michael Faherty: if any others are visiting this area and would enjoy meeting up, I’d look forward to it!
Casey Carpenter: We are enjoying the warm summer weather in Oregon, hiking in the forest, paddling at the lake and river, and spending time with family, including our playful black lab. I am staying busy volunteering with local gleaners and food pantries, coaching non-profit campaigns, candidates, and causes, hosting writers’ workshops, and writing my next book and weekly newsletter, Life is a Journey. Please join me. https://lifeisajourney.substack.com/
David Thevenon: Hello from Sydney, Australia, where I am still running the local office of strategy consultancy Advancy. My sons Tim and Alex have or are about to graduate, and Helene is enjoying travelling and working on ESG projects. We had the pleasure of having the visit in Australia of Cyrille Arnould (see picture, some of us have not changed, right?). Many thanks to Rob Fitzpatrick for hosting and to Grant Wilson for joining! Please reach out if you plan to come Down Under, and I will sure do the same when passing through America or Europe! Best wishes to everyone.
