Evan Sturza: It was fun to reconnect with Roy Twersky in Cabo over four days in January. It’s hard to believe it’s been 35 years. We now live on opposite coasts, both married (me to classmate Stephanie Guilpin), each with a college-age son and daughter. We joked about the oddity of our sliding doors moment of almost launching a start up after finishing Wharton. It wasn’t meant to be, but the strong bond remained. As my Wall Street career nears its end, I look forward to reconnecting with other classmates that I lost touch with.

Rick Deitch: 2025 was a big year for us, as two of our four kids got married. Janese and I are still (mainly) in Dallas, and I still do some investing in PE and VC projects, but I find that I am less and less motivated to work. So while we wait for grandkids (get on it, kids!) Janese and I spend a lot of time traveling (currently up to 40 countries and 49 states – I really need to get to North Dakota!) and out at our place in Marin. Looking forward to the reunion!

Leslie Benoliel: Since graduating from Wharton, I have dedicated my energies these past thirty odd years to community development in Philadelphia, my birthplace and hometown. I lead a nonprofit community development financial institution (CDFI) called Entrepreneur Works that provides micro loans, training and business advisory services to under resourced entrepreneurs and small business owners in the Philadelphia region. I serve on several boards and committees related to my work. I love the community development finance field and have made lifelong friendships with colleagues across the country doing this work. I am grateful that I can to devote the time and energy to making a positive impact day in and day out.

On the personal side, I am still happily married to Alex Hamilton (almost 37 years now!) and together we raised two sons, who are now grown: Ben is an engineer, married and living in the Boston area with his wife and new baby; Nigel is pursuing a career in aviation and currently lives at home. We recently became grandparents with the birth of our grandson, Martin, in December, a new role for us which we are joyfully embracing. Alex and I are still both passionate skiers and spend most of our winter weekends commuting to Vermont where we have a mountain home on the slopes of Mad River Glen. My travel adventures this past year took me to southern Africa (Botswana, Namibia, South Africa, and Zimbabwe), Croatia & Montenegro, Jackson, WY for skiing, North Haven Island in Maine and southern California for a family wedding. I am very excited for our 35th reunion in Philadelphia and look forward to reconnecting with many of you.

 

Kacey Carpenter: Spring is here in Oregon! I’m excited to get outdoors and spend time with family, especially my granddaughter, and to get back out on the road with Wilbur, our chiweenie, exploring the Pacific Northwest in our camper van, ViVi, short for Viva Viajes. Life is a journey. I also have two new books coming out this spring: The Fight We’re In: Organizing for Power and Change, and Murder in Vacationland, part of my National Park mystery series.
